ATEC is first to become a NetApp Authorized Professional Service Partner (APSP) for Networked Storage in Virtualized Platforms.

Albany, New York - April 21, 2008 -- ATEC is the first Consultant/Reseller to complete the requirements and become a NetApp Authorized Professional Service Partner (APSP) for Networked Storage in Virtualized Platforms, in the world.

NetApp, a global provider of innovative data management solutions, announced creation of this program in a February 2008 press release and was open to all NetApp partners. The program was designed specifically with channel partners in mind; to provide an industry-leading professional service business proposition with compelling enablement resources, focused on increasing the productivity and effectiveness of customer data centers.

The APSP program spotlights those partners who take the extra step to develop and deliver their own brand of professional services for NetApp data center solutions and utilize NetApp:
- best practices
- tools and methodologies
- comprehensive training
- implementation of backup support

Customers who partner with ATEC will benefit from:
- Design and implementation of specialized-level professional services, as part of a total NetApp technologies solution
- Specializations in one or more NetApp solution areas
- Proven service delivery methodologies and best practices, as a result of having completed advanced, comprehensive hands-on training
- Ability to integrate complimentary services and solutions that help transform customer data centers in new ways that enhance their business.

ATEC has two NetApp expert-level consultants, who are NetApp Certified Data Management Administrators (NCDA), Certified Solutions Architects (NCSA) and Certified Implementation Engineers (NCIE). As a result of this program, they are also earned their Automated Storage Provisioning Engine (ASPE) license.
